MECO's engineering staff has over 100 combined years of service to the bulk material handling industries.  This staff is very thorough and detail oriented.  They strive to have a project completed correctly the first time to save you money. 

Some common tasks our engineers cover are:
- Equipment sizing and selection
- Equipment approval drawings
- General arrangement drawings
- Design foundations, pads, support structures, platforms, stairs
- Design material storage options including bunkers, reclaimer systems, silos, box feeders
- Design material transfer equipment (chutework, hoppers, etc)
- Shop detail drawings for steel fabricators
- Concrete design
- Building design and equipment coordination
- Controls (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Review compliance to code and permits

Frank Carraher, P.E., is a vice president of MECO and our lead engineer.  Frank received his civil engineering degree from the University of Dayton.
